Well, I suppose promises of more frequent posts are not binding. However, as I am living at home for a few weeks, I thought I should take advantage of the internet access and post something. The trouble is, I can't think of what to post.
Nothing interesting is taking shape or has happened, except for at work, where things have a tendency to stay right on the verge of overwhelming. I seem to just stay afloat most of the time, with bouts of success interspersed with moments of frustration. Overall, it's really going quite smoothly, and I find myself sometimes surprised at the level of things I am able to handle.
But, since nothing really exciting is going on now, I guess I'll update on my plans for upcoming adventures...
I am very excited because in about a month I get to go to our national brand conference to see what our holiday will look like. I've been looking forward to going to brand conference for years. It was always so exciting to see my store manager come back motivated, excited about the holiday season and loaded with free stuff, not to mention glowing from basking in the Orlando sunshine. However, this year, the company has decided to move brand conference to NASHVILLE. Nashville. I enjoyed Tennessee, but I really want to go to Orlando. Our whole team had already made plans to go to Disneyworld the week after the conference for a few days... but oh well. I am still SO excited to get to go.
Oh, okay. This is FANTASIC!
I am going to a Chicago concert in October! My friend Angie and I both LOVE Chicago, and they're on tour and coming to Vegas in October. I am so excited I can hardly keep it in! I will be able to die a happy girl. I have loved Chicago ever since I was a little girl. I remember sitting in our living room and singins "look away, baby look away-don't look at me, I don't want you to see me this way..." with my mom, Jeff and Sarah. We used to listen to them all the time, and I have such good memories associated with them--how could I help loving them?
Then, at the end of October we're taking a family vacation to Disneyland. Disneyland, baby! We had so much fun last year that this year the whole family is going to go and take a vacation together. I am so excited!

Yay! You updated! Sounds like you have a fun couple of months planned. I love Chicago, too. How lucky are you? Where are you moving to?
I don't really know yet. Hopefully these apartments on 800 North in Orem, so I'm closer to my store...But we don't know yet if we're accepted to live there.
Good to hear from you, Amy! Bummer about Nashville rather than Orlando, but you could go to the Grand Ole Opry. Dave was there earlier this year. He may be able to give you a few hints on fun things to see or do.
I read that there was a pretty good art museum there.
Nashville is pretty cool. Don't miss The Hermitage, the home of Andrew Jackson. It was really neat. And, it is still warm there, so you ought to get a suntan.
Oh, and if you are tired of too many new bras, I can let you know my size, and my address--you can send them my way. ;)
