a slice of my life

Welcome to spring!
Since I have been oh-so-diligent in updating my blog (I have really intended to be so much betters, but since I don't have internet access at my house it makes things difficult) the new news in Amy's life:

1. I have since taken a vacation to lovely California, where I remembered how much I truly do enjoy sunshine and a good sunburn now and again.

2. I got a promotion! I'm the new store manager at the Riverwoods Victoria's Secret. I am super excited, but now realize how very little I know about some things, and how much more I know than others in some things. It's been very eye opening, and now I know how relaxing my dreams used to be.

3. Spring has almost Sprung. Technically it's Spring, but today it snowed...twice...and was very, very windy.

4. I decided I need a pet. So I am going to buy a fish, that will love me from afar and console me with empathetic looks and gulps from its cute little fishbowl.

5. I have also recently decided that my future lies in singing along with Chicago...whether in the car, or at home I LOVE CHICAGO!

6. My friend Crystal moved to Austen, and I miss her. I have to say that I am grateful for cell phones and easy communication so we can visit and still be close.

7. I have basically decided that my first large purchase of my life is going to be a Prius. It is so cute, and so very friendly, and I love hybrids! I have always wanted a hybrid my entire life, ever since I heard of the concept, and am so excited that now it is a real possibility. YAY!

I miss being a student now that my tax return is half of what it was when I was a student. The things I can do with my refund are now significantly less.

I think that's all. My life is woefully uneventful.
